This audio clip tells the real experience of a patient who was told—again and again—that cannabis was causing her intense vomiting episodes. She stopped using cannabis. The vomiting continued. Five ER visits later, another hospital finally ran the right tests… and discovered a massive abscess in her gut that required emergency surgery.
Yes, there’s a small detail: the patient gets the years a bit jumbled in the recording (we may clean that up in a future version). But the core story is absolutely real, and too important to sit on.
This is about more than one patient. It’s about the ongoing risk of blaming cannabis without digging deeper—of letting stigma get in the way of real care.
